Congratulations to our first Jasper Bryant, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund Winners, Alexis Farmer and Erica Walters! Both young ladies plan to major in education with the goal of becoming teachers. Congratulations to all of our applicants and all of the graduates in the class of 2019! May your dreams come true! We're excited to award our 2020 scholarships. Stayingy tuned for the details.

The Jasper Bryant, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund awarded scholarships to students graduating from Dooly County High School and attending their freshman year of college in the 2020-2021 academic year with plans to major in Education.

To be considered for the scholarship, students must meet the eligibility criteria. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the scholarship deadline has been extended to May 15.  All applicants will be notified on June 14, 2020. Scholarship monies are for the payment of tuition, fees, and/or books, but not for room and board. If the scholarship funds are not used for these fees before January 1, 2021, recipients may lose eligibility for a monetary award and the monies will be returned to the Jasper Bryant, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Proof of acceptance from a post-secondary educational program leading to a degree is required to obtain the scholarship monies.
